i get this every time i try to load up a game i have to click like 20 times before it loads any help please

This has happened to me i dont really know i re-installed steam a while back and it got fixed maybe thats what you have to do but im unsure

Try restarting Steam, then check if either a 'Steam.exe' or 'HL2.exe' process is running. If they are, then exit them, start steam and see if it will work.

I had the same problem with each source-based game (CS:S, TF2, HL2) I contacted steam support and they gave this solution: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

Try it, it worked for me.
