Killing Floor

I recently bought it and I really don't think its worth the $20. Its the same thing over and over. You kill, you die, you wait. Its a little more fun playing with more people of course, but whenever you're trying to get to the Trader, everyone just blocks the entrance so you're stuck with nothing but an empty pistol and a knife. I'd rather have paid $10 for this (even though I think it'd be better as a free mod).

i bought this game the day it came out and i love it! and they are coming out with new maps too.

I love this game, it was well worth the 20$ in my opinion. I have been playing it with friends and random alike and it is a fun experience in both cases. The class system makes you focus on the weapons you like the most, and almost guarantees that you won't have a team full of the same thing. The weapon selection is quite nice, and there are no useless weapons. Starter weapons (pistol and knife) do get less useful later, but seeing as they don't take up space they are worth having, especially as the knife makes you run faster. :P

The first time I played I expected to be with a bunch of randoms who would leave me to die, but they were more than willing to give me money to buy gear because one more equipped member increases your odds of success quite a bit. Most of my random games after that were a similar experience. My games with people I knew were amazing, we coordinated our roles and were quite successful (until the final boss.)

The enemies are varied and quite fun to take on, from the basic "clots" that can grab you to the "fleshpound" that can go berserk and destroy your team if you aren't careful, I never find myself getting bored with them. There are quite a few ways to kill the enemies, from just unloading into them to carefully sniping and running away to buying the rocket launcher and just blowing them up. Choosing your class varies your tactics as each class is good at certain things and taking down certain enemies. If you go "berserker" you can't be grabbed by clots, whereas if you go "commando" you can spot the invisible enemies from further away.

The graphics are somewhat lacking, but if you have a good computer the blur effects and the filters will make up for the lack of detail by keeping you distracted. Honestly, once you get into a large fight you forget that it looks somewhat ugly because you are too busy fighting to survive (and keep your allies alive in some cases.)

Overall, the game is worth the price if you enjoy 6 player co-op shooters. I would recommend playing it, and if you need someone to play with you...there are quite a few of us that play. :D

Looks like a cheap copy of l4d to me... some people might enjoy it though.

Every game is simply a enhanced copy of another game. What i mean is that if there is an original core idea for a game, and it works. Then people take it until it becomes the norm. So no sense fretting about that. KF took the zombie genre and made it better imo. KF and L4D have almost no similarities as well. You really have to play a game to make an opinion on it too. Else it will either become biased or just dosnt make sense.

I have the game. Once you play it too much it got boring. But it was very fun indeed in the beggening. Very Hard Boss.

For you people trying to make your mind up heres some help. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujchQ88Qydc[/ame] i made a video of the gameplay.

the game is really bad for my taste really takes no skill laggy servers all the time and u cant run u just jog all the time u cant jump

Eh. If i was you. I would not spend 20 bucks on this game..

+ Good horror game
+ Challenging

- Not good maps
- Guns are not so great
- No story line
- Not a game you can play for a long period of time.

But those are just my opinion on it.
