I like how there is that one guy calling u a noob xD

anyway yea im down i could broaden my horizons...

i don't want a noob/bad soldier teaching us...

That's why i would pick Kunai! Cuz he's not a noob/bad soldier!

Sure. I'm pretty comfortable at playing soldier, and I love it. I'd still show up because that's the thing with this game, there's always more to learn. :)

The hardest part of soldier for me is those damn pyros, if I don't see them until I'm on fire I usually die

I personally don't need to be taught to play, yet I encourage others to be trained by you since I know what you can do

If you want I can assist you, maybe I don't have a lot of hours as soldier, maybe 50 or something, but still manage to have some evil tricks up my sleeve

also can be the enemy who your pupil needs to kill >=)

Demoman, in someways is similar to the Soldier. Strategies used for the Soldier can also be used for the demoman. So yes, getting assistance from you Cliff, is a privilege!

You are right on that, being a demoman I am exploring the weaknesses of the soldiers, so actually I know the soldier pretty good.

But still, I feel honored

Im interested, I atleast think you should give a private class for everyone on our scrim team, and then wait till after the competitive league to teach everyone else....

Our scrim team is obviously first on that. Also, that's what our scrim team practice today is for.

Awesome if you need an assistant just let me know.

You know it Cheesepat, would love to have you assist me.

Yes teach me the ways of the Soldier oh wise one. :)

I'm anything from great. =P

Sure, I'll go.

I need to find a way to kill those darn rocket deflecting pyros

"Good" Pyros are indeed a pain. I know ways to fully counter their compression blasts, and their Axetinguishing.

For every class, I will explain their weaknesses and advantages over the Soldier. And ways to counter the specified class's advantage over the Soldier.

So modest. Kunai is the only one who can outsmart the flying edible toilet.
Actually, lots of people can outsmart me.

Speaking as a "darn rocket deflecting pyro"

  1. Always telegraph your rocket shots by jumping in the air first. Pyros never catch on to that.
  2. Be sure to get close enough to a pyro that you can shovel them to death once you run out of rockets. Pyros can't do anything at close range.
  3. When you fire a crit rocket at a pyro, always stand still and watch. Pyros know to never deflect crit rockets as it is against the code of honor.
  4. Never use your shotgun against pyros. Pyros can deflect bullets back at you anyway.
  5. Always try to kill pyros in areas where you can't move freely, like the vents in Blackmesa. If you both can't move around, then your rockets should hit pyros easier, right?
  6. Be sure to treat backburner-using pyros the same as regular flamethrower ones. Just cause they haven't airblasted you the last 99 times doesn't mean they won't on the 100th, right?
  7. Never, ever hold off on firing your entire load of rockets at pyros at once. Pyros can't count to four.

Great advice Thereven, if only I could even vaguely trust you
