Hey, I just got Windows 7 RC. And the sad part of it all is that Windows 7 RC works better than the final version of XP SP3...or Vista for that matter. Anyways, I would suggest to most people to get it now or when it comes to be a final release on October 22, 2009.

I was going to buy the upgrade at kind of the last minute on sale at the Best Buy website for 49.99 with a $50 gift card, then I learned something new:

There's still tax online.

Dang. I think I'll buy Vista Home Premium at Newegg, since it comes with a free W7 upgrade.
 
ya. me and my brother wnat it. I play DoD:S on his laptop, and he wont let me play until he gets WIN7. Does this seem odd to anyone?
 
I tried it and saw no difference at all in performance or anything, just a different UI.. I'll stick with vista, dont want to spend the money when all I do is game and use the internet.

Just kidding! I <3 Win 7 too, I've been using the Win 7 release client for a while now, and was using the Beta version before that. It's just better than Vista in every way, looking forward to the hooplah when the non-techno nerds learn Win 7 is being released soon ~

Ditto, I'm really anoyed about all those W7 threads. Make a big one, sticky it and post in there. So you have a main place to ask questions and give out info.

Waiting to get some reviews on official release before buying it , same tactic when vista came out :).

Am beating alot of people on 3dmark06 because am using win xp .So i need to see a great improvement before paying 100-200 bucks.

Oh wow....I didn't know that.....maybe you should make one of those(or this one) a stickie.......that way we wont have 10 or so threads about 1 topic.
 
personally I dont like windows 7 RC when I was using it I couldnt play my flight simulator games which made me pissed but for me it worked great with source games.
