Well, I have replaced many of my original models with much higher quality skins, if you care to look, here they are.

I replaced my Thompson with a M3A1 Skin: http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/58135

Its amazing! Its different, but I like it, its an original skin.

I replaced my BAR with another, higher quality skin:

It is a much higher quality reskin in my opinion, and includes the bipods that many BARs had.

The only problem with it is that the reload animation doesn't finish, it cuts out halfway through, I have gotten used to it though.

I replaced my K98K with a Gewehr 43 Skin, it was different and I feel like I do better with it.

I replaced my STG44 with a FG42 Skin.

This was an amazing change, I hated the STG44 Design and if was perfect way to replace it! I wasn't too much a fan of the sound, but I got used it it.

And finally,

I replaced my grenades (on both sides) with these much higher quality skins, I love the sounds as well.

I have much more skins but none else that almost change the model completely, I had really great player skins for both sides but cannot find them on the website anymore, I also recently tried out a new skin and screwed up my previous one and cannot figure out how to get it to work again :chair:.

You have alot of the same skins I do, isn't the luger skin great.

I have a question though, I have the exact same soldier skins, but I accidently screwed up my Waffen SS German Player skin and I cannot figure out how to get it installed again, I read the readme but that just confuses me, could you help? :confused1:


EDIT: Ive been looking at your skins and I'm gonna use some of them if you don't mind, I realized we had a lot of the same skins, but you def have some great ones I don't have.

Of course i can help. First you need to find the file path they were installed on. Delete ALL of the files that involve your Waffen SS skin, then re-download the skin, and install once more. If that doesnt work, contact me in vent, i can go into more detail.

I find it to be good. It looks more realistic. But when your in the sewers of Kalt, it seems to shoot up a little high for how shallow it is lol.

Thank you, I finally got the Waffen SS skins to work again, it turns out that the skin I was testing had files that would overwrite the SS skins so only the Waffen SS Gear would show up and the rest would be purple & black, finally, I can play Day of Defeat Source again with the Waffen SS skins.

Yeah, i had the same problem with my current start up menu background. Had to go through and find all the old files it didnt overwrite and delete them manually.

Edit: McMeow, it would be pretty awsome if people were using some of the skins i have. Feel free to use whatever u want, im not gunna call u a copy cat or anything. (Lol, pun about cats:lol

Its not good, its only realistic when you see one splash.
But when you see an automatic shooting into the water, the splashes are so fake.

I gave up on changing my skins, some of the people that upload stuff onto FPS don't bother organizing the skins inside folders for you then you wind up having to make every folder 1 by 1 and that usually results in the skin not working if not done right :facewall: I just wish there was an easier way to take all those .vtf, etc and put them in there.
