Oh, im sorry. I was confused by what u meant by laser sights. My apologies. If someone is using a laser sight get an eGO to perma ban him please.

i know there is no rule against skins but there is a rule against skins with laser sights. which means if it shoots a red laser when you shoot its illegal. which i have seen some in the strand server with the m1's and sniper rifles. they make you hit better and you can tell when a person has one because after they shoot there is a red line where the bullet path was.

I have NEVER seen a laser come out of my/someone elses gun.

How could ONE persons skin, show up for the whole server?

if you knew how long ive been in eGO and the stuff ive seen in strand ou would understand. once people create the skin with that laser they put i ton fpsbanana.com and dont tell you that you downloaded one with a laser and that is how people get it and htye dont know they have it until they get banned from a server that dont allow them

you see the laser during the kill cam. because after they kill you, you can see the path the bullet went because there will be a red line which therefore means the person who killed you has a laser aiming sight

Still if you download skins, you are only changing the appearance of your game. Others should not be affected by your skins because they exist on your computer only. If this laser sight allows better aiming then it must be a hack that Vac can pick up.

Ruben has a point. Unless u have the "world" skin DLed and installed to see something like that it has to be something VAC can pick up.

I'm still a bit confused, how does one person skin affect the whole server, you cannot upload your files to the server, plus a world view is what you see when your not holding it, not what others can see. And VAC does not at all detect skins to my knowledge, all a skin is, is a different .vtf or .vmt file, like the original (same name, etc) but with a different model design, and also as far as I know Valve or VAC don't care about what skins you use. But the red laser (for Nate1991) has to be on your client, or the server itself, it is impossible for someone else skins to visually affect your skin. For example, I have a KA-BAR skins for my American Knife, and when I punch you, unless you have the same exact skin, you won't see my knife as a KA-BAR, you would see it as the default model that it is, or another skin you may have used.

I know they have them in CSS

no ive never played on a modded server. ive only seen this on eGO servers especially Strand you see a lot of it.
