Yeah, but the idle program auto-deletes duplicates.i just sit idle on one of our empty servers. i usually get alot of items, and 1 time i got a hat. and it helps fill the servers too
It's a must IMO.

It would be cool for someone to edit the Idling program to use an eGO server. I would totally idle it all the time while I'm not playing

Wouldn't work. This would get you VAC banned if you use it on an eGO server. It connects specifially to servers with VAC turned off, so you don't get banned.It would be cool for someone to edit the Idling program to use an eGO server. I would totally idle it all the time while I'm not playing
As for the OP, download it, even if I haven't gotten a hat (yet), it's still useful for getting higher level items (for instance my 9 level 100 items

Pff, thats why you set it to auto-delete dupes.I just downloaded it a few days ago, its been working great, I have 10 new jarates to show for it, no new hat though, only my same old fedora

If Valve didn't want you to use it, they'd have shut it down long ago. It's basically sitting in someone's server without the need to render anything, therefore your computer isn't bogged down when trying to do anything else.
The only problem is that when you get back in-game when you leave the idler, your items don't register in your backpack until you die and it shows you the "YOU JUST GOT A MUDKIPZ" window. Once that happens, in the chat box it will say you received a crap load of items all at once, and the items will then appear in your backpack. Although, sometimes this never happens, and they simply don't show up in your backpack for a while.
NOTE: Items that don't appear in your backpack are still selectable in the class loadout menu.
