Joining in 2008 and instantly making a splash with his humor, leadership skills, and ability to solve disputes with his acclaimed and admired deep voice. While yes, Hammer may be slightly old, he is bundled with energy and has never missed a step in his time with EdgeGamers. An innovator from the very beginning, Hammer has lead over 10+ projects in EdgeGamers, ranging from Team Fortress 2, Member Services, overseeing our AT and UAT programs, and even serving as Director. You could say that he had done it all around here, and technically that would have been incorrect... until today. We are very happy to welcome USCG Hammer...

With a heavy heart, we would like to make a tribute post for one of our older members. Ubermaniac was a funny, energetic, go-getter during his time as an eGO admin. He joined eGO and was quickly promoted up the ranks. He was a part of the AT, EC, and RT teams in the Counter-Strike Group. Uber was well known to have a great sense of humor and quick reaction times during comps. He was the guy everyone wanted on their team and the person everyone wanted to play golf with. He had an infectious attitude about gaming and memes. Uber was a prime candidate to become a CS Advisor, however, he left before he could be promoted. EdgeGamers has begun exploring opportunities in two new games, Overwatch and Squad. Overwatch returns to EdgeGamers as an explorative project to see begin to gauge interest in the game under the lead of Wish. Overwatch was previously supported in EdgeGamers as an official game but fell from support, until now! The popular Blizzard game released in 2015 still has a popular following amongst casual and competitive gamers. A sequel to the game, Overwatch 2 is expected to additionally be delivered in 2021.
