There are a lot of maps I like but I picked Flash. Donner is right up there with it so it was a tough choice. I miss the rainstorm of the original Donner... If it was a poll on my least favorite, I'd select Avalunch, hands down, no contest.

Yeah, I've also got a six digit. I waited a few days for the run to end and to see how many complaints there were once it went live before signing up, so I've only been on steam since September 27, 2003. I kinda wish I remember what my WONID was, after reading this thread, however. ;)

I think the horror stories of netcode problems were the main reason I never tried that game. Trying a modern (or only slightly "sci-fi") version of the game might work better now that more people have decent (e.g., not dial-up) network connections. ;)

All it takes it whacking them in the face/body with one when they are at 1hp and trying to bandage. :) I think it does 2 hp damage if you hit someone (like a thrown grenade). Rifle 'nades do 4 hp damage if you actually shoot someone with one ...

Succeed in real life, so you can afford to succeed in game later! :D (for those that don't get it, do well in school so you can get a good job and be able to afford all the cool games later in life ;)).

I really dislike people intentionally TKing. However, I hate the people that use the slay/blind/beacon response even when it was an unintentional TK. I'm of mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, its just not right to TK like that. On the other hand, I'd have shot the annoying kid that last...

From an admin perspective, I ask (thats key, I ask) if anyone wants to switch. If I don't get a reply (or see someone switch) in 15 seconds or so, I'll switch myself.

So, EVE Online is out then, huh? :D I keep coming back to DOD:S ... nothing, with the possible exception of Insurgency, is equal to the fun and challenge.

Thats why I always pick "auto assign" when I join the server. Saves me the trouble of checking which is short handed. ;)
