i ended up going to vista home premium and its all good now

the problem is back. but now it only happens every 15 minutes or so.

for other hl2 games besides CSS use mat_queue_mode 2 CSS to my knowledge has no way to increase how many cores it uses

i actually think i solved it. i have an 8600gts and i had completely forgotten to update my drivers in a long time. i had like 174 and apparently 181 was out.

I just reinstalled my TF2 and no matter what I try about 10 minutes into game, my game crashes. Doesn't matter what map/class or where ever I am, it just crashes

do i have to buy a separate sound card to get the full sound from it?
