    Overclocking your Intel Core 2 Duo cpu

    If your going to adjust the clock ratio just make sure you do it in steps. for example x8 to x9 dont go from x8 to x20. after you adjust it just run your system open some cpu heavy program and make sure its stable.

    I have the same CPU and I have it OC @ 3Ghz. No aftermarket cooling. I didnt mess with the volts just changed the Freq. Nvidia also has a "System Tools" you can overclock your stuff from there too. http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvidia_system_tools_6.02.html

    All you need to look for is a Power supply that supports 600W+ and supports SLI also make sure it has a 24Pin Mobo connector.

    Forget the raids. Just get a 10k RPM HDD for your apps and OS. Then just have a storage HDD for movies pics mp3s etc...
