Um yeah clock speed but its not gonna give you any performance increase if you have a quad core from a dual core or the same cpu turned intoa single core, i was just sayin that. The new ones are multi threaded like half life 2 episode 2 and stuff.

thats exactly right, the 8600' are horrible cards for the price, expecially SLI , if you are tight on money atleast get a 9600gt or an 8800GS, Even 8800GT, but deffinitely not an 8600.

ok with that card and that monitor if you want good settings you will deffinitely not be gettin anywhere close to 120fps not even 90 either... i suggest a better card. Quad core does absolutely nothing with DOD:S anyway, it is a single threaded application. :\

here is a link i found on a 9600gt review. Look at it, it demolishes the 8600gts sli setup lol. the 8800gt is even better.

ok dude DO NOT i repeat get 2 8600gts' in sli. not good. you can get MUCH better for the price.. how much are you paying for those 2 8600gts's cause u get an 8800gt or a 9600gt that will beat the crap out of those for the same price or ever less sometimes. as for a motherboard i say go with this...

yeah.... alittle more than 2k bucks. 3 9800gx2's will set you back 1800, a dual core or quad core extreme will be atleast 1k depending on what you get. 4 gb of ram only like 120-160 though. still idk what your trying to play lol. anyway you will have to upgrade your motherboard to for the tri...
