Moving up... and i need motherboard help...

as a few of you know, i am running a awesome p4 2.0 with a geforce 440...

okay, so this needs to be tossed... I am right now buying a Wolfdale or Conroe 2.6 intel with Geforce 8600 gts sti'ed... Now, i need a motherboard. I was thinking heading to the asus P5N, but the reviews are kinda shotty.

Any one else have any good ideas in the same price range.. around 150...
 
ok dude DO NOT i repeat get 2 8600gts' in sli. not good. you can get MUCH better for the price.. how much are you paying for those 2 8600gts's cause u get an 8800gt or a 9600gt that will beat the crap out of those for the same price or ever less sometimes. as for a motherboard i say go with this

or this depending on how much you want to spend, either of these will kill the 8600gts' in sli

here is a link i found on a 9600gt review. Look at it, it demolishes the 8600gts sli setup lol. the 8800gt is even better.
 
Alright guys, i think i am going to go with the MST board and the 9600 GT vid... and most likely the 2.6 Conroe processor... i am already kinda pushing my budget... but alas.. i need a upgrade.
