A warpath-specific donation fund could be viable to keep the server alive but I would leave this decision completely up to leadership. Since the server has a very hardcore, consistent following it could actually work for a while.

Pretty much - agreed 100%. Warpath has a HUGE following here of eGO and non-eGO players and we need to recognize that. Potential for a warpath server donation fund?

Girlfriend's out of the house from Wednesday night to Saturday night....i.e. expect Food Fight! to be on Warpath alllll night long (unless the cats need some snuggles, then I'll take a 30 minute break).

Not to beat a dead horse but last night the server was practically shut down by the lag. We went from being totally full to 9vs9 in 15 minutes because the server was stuttering and everyone's pings went to 300+. Any way we can test Warpath on a different server?

Warpath is a great server that would be a shame to lose. It's been good for recruiting, has consistent players and is great for beginners. I also agree with the statement that server lag issues have been hurting it for a while and changing to melee might help.

Soooo 77 votes later it looks like people want Melee back. However, I think we need to take into account the coming Scout updated. Would people hate something like a demo melee only?

Might make more of a case for completely random Melee. I haven't been on a random melee server but it sounds hilarious. Maybe we even turn the HLStatsX off during sudden death.
