Again, there's a reason no one uses the other shields anymore (unless they don't have the TT). The TT is just obviously superior. And shields were already incredibly powerful.

I don't think there's a requirement for something to be good in the hands of a new player for it to be OP. Yes, the tide turner has a definite skill component, but if you have that skill, then it becomes insanely powerful. As I mentioned, there's no real counter to it. You can't escape...

Ditto on what darksoul said... Everything should have a counter, and there's just no counter to the flippin' thing.

There's been more drama in this thread than there typically is on TS. The "problem", such as it is, has been blown way out of proportion. With all respect to benuc, I'm with IP, I'm not impressed with the attempt to play the victim. Good fortune benuc.
