I'd suggest getting an External Drive. An External Drive is kinda like an extra C: Drive but its portable(kinda like a flash drive but can hold WAY more)

If you have an extra $80 lying around, this would be a great external drive:

So if you get an External Drive, copy & paste your steamapps folder into your external drive, reformat your computer, reinstall all your stuff, reinstall all your steam games, then copy and paste your steamapps folder into your new steamapps folder. If it asks you to overwrite, do it. Then all your maps/skins/downloads should be there. Hope this helped. Tell me if you have any questions ;)

Ya but i dont have 80$ just laying around. Its not the fact that i dont have room its the fact that TF2 isnt working. i forgot to say but there is a hl2.exe error and i have no idea what todo. Sorry i forgot to add that in
 
Um you could partition a tiny portion of your drive and just reimage over the rest....

Edit: wait....your problem is you cant copy the files correctly?....sry dont feel like reading all your posts.
 
Oh, well in that case, do you have any other source games that have the same error? If you don't, delete the hl2.exe in your tf2 folder and copy&paste the hl2.exe from one of your source games folders into the tf2 folder. If that doesn't help, try right clicking tf2 in your games menu, delete local game content, then reinstall the game. Hope it helps ;)
