Help!new game/ programstopedwkn

NEW- I got it to the screen where it says press any key but right after that a message in game pops up and says " Games for windows-live fail to initialize" ... what does that mean?!

I have a question about a brand new game I just got.

!NOT A TON OF TIME? SKIP TO NUMBER 4 FOR MAIN CONFLICT!

To start I am running on Windows Vista 64-bit and my pc exceeds all the system requirements to play the games. I have also installed Windows Vista SP1 which has not helped anything.

PROBLEM 1:

GAME: Section 8

1. I install the game following all directions and everything goes fine.

2. I then lunch the game which takes which will run fine and then gets to main screen and says press any key.

3. I do as it says then it says no windows live account could be accessed or something along the lines of that and then the games just closes.

4. I reinstalled the game thinking I did some thing wrong and now every time I start the game the intro video glitches up and the game closes with a error message saying "program stopped working". Also when launching game before anything happens it says the program is not responding for about 5 seconds before it launches game and glitches up.

5. I have had this same problem with ARMA II Demo.

7. If there is anything you thing I should know or you think I should try or download please let me know.I am open to anything because I don't want 50 dollars to just go down the drain. I am 100% sure my computer can run this game.

hrmm that happened to me as well...the way i fixed it was i looked in my email...saw that i didnt verify my email with windows live...verified my email...relaunched the game...and then it worked like a charm

You need to press the "Any" Key

When I could first get the game to run... which I can't now it would never even ask me to set up a live account

Go to windows live, set up a new account, and the game should be able to access your live account.

That's just from browsing through your thread though.

The game gives me no chance to set up a live account and I have also downloaded windows live from microsoft.com and still no dang luck. They also have a very bad support system where I can't contact them it just says based on your message we have found search results and will not send your message.

I have been working on this for over 2 and a half hours and still no luck >: (

You set up a live account outside of the game, not in it.
