Age of Empires II: The Conquerors

I got AoE 1+2 with expansions for 10 dollars last year or so, with this much of a community I think I'll have to reinstall.

For the record, I'd played a friend's copy beforehand, so I'm not a TOTAL noob at that game.

Out of curiosity, anyone played Galactic Battlegrounds (the Star Wars game on the same engine)? If nothing else, it had some of the best cheats ever. Simon the Killer Ewok ftw.

As a matter of fact I did play Galactic Battlegrounds, and I got the expansion too. I usually went air-heavy but I don't remember much about playing it. I just remember that I liked how you could put the animals in a farm and get food forever from them instead of harvesting them.
 
I cant find anyone under your name :( how bout you add me at Kus_Umok. Guys please join the Hamachi server as that will probably be how we all connect and play. We will probably be setting a tentative date in the near future so ready your skills. :D

This forum has a cool little feature where you can get a link to someone's Steam page from their forum profile.
 
SUCCESS! We managed to get it too work. You just need age+1.0c patch and hamachi. Join and get destroyed by my mongol hordes like lance and carmine did :D

Well I just reinstalled 2. Its going to be awhile before I'm ready to play. I remember everything, but I'm going to be very busy with school, and I'm getting Fallout 3 Broken Steel/Point Lookout this weekend. Hope to play with you soon though. Go Teutons. (too bad it doesn't want to work on Steam)
Edit: Joined network, and yeah what are we playing, I'm assuming a team game, but what kind, I used to play a lot of Death Match, good to know in advance when we set the date. And as far as getting the news across, we can make announcements via the Steam Group once we get the ball rolling.

:D I know, you guys will definetley destroy me once you get the hang of things. So when do you guys want to play? This invitation extends to the general Age II population. Just join the hamachi server and ill figure out a date thats good for all of us.

Like I said earlier, I'll be gunning to play Sunday night (9/13) sometime. Hope you're ready because this is a game I can pick up and it's like I never stopped. I'll be bringing the best I got and we'll see what happens lol.

I have a huge chip on my shoulder because I was the most feared and respected AOE II Player at my college by the time I graduated. That doesn't mean much because it was a smaller private school, but the chip is still there.
 
I've joined the Hamachi group. I have AoE II (and expansion) as well as III (and Warchiefs but not the Asian Dynasties one).

Hey, don't know where else to write this and I haven't hopped in vent yet, but I'm grabbing some quick grub and I'll be online and ready to roll around 10 PM eastern time, aka in about 15-20 minutes.

Looking forward to it, the more the merrier!
 
Well, I was ready. I was in Vent, I was logged into Hamachi, I sent messages via both and even signed on STEAM briefly and couldn't get a hold of anyone.

Looks like we'll have to do this another time.
