Steam.dll

Everytime i try to update steam i get a steam.dll error ive tried uninstalling, restarting, repairing and even have deleted all of the steam folder and still noting works ive checked my ports for steam and there all open help please.

edit even tried mostly harmless's sticky still nothing is working

second edit - good it working was because of comodo firewall i just uninstalled it

ive said it so many times before to people you got to make sure there is only one steam.dll and it must be placed in the main folder otherwise nothing in steam will work properly

Thing is when downloading steam it doesnt even give me that file i just have these

just tried moving steam.dll from another computer on to mine and still didnt work

ok you should contact steam and tell them about you'r little problem, and see if they can help you

i also recomend(if you still have receipt) to return the game to the store you bought it from
hopefully they will give you a functional game

well all im trying to do is download steam off the site and i get these errors

have you tried using another computer to download, then copy the install file to the computer you're using now?

yes i have still getting the error also just tried turning off my firewall and it worked lol dont use comodo firewall i guess also thanks lt. thomas for helping me

are you running 64-bit system cos my friend is running 64-bit and is having the same problem.
