9/5/09 e vs eG Scrim

We started off on Freight, which both teams fought hard on, only to tie up in the end. We then had to go onto stopwatch mode on Gravelpit, which, while very close, ended in a victory for the eG's.
Great game to everybody, it was a lot of fun.

Just ignore all of the details about stopwatch mode from now on and play the game

We all got confused about this "stopwatch" mode we've never heard of in our life and it threw everyone off of their game

Next time, just play it like any other match...

The winner is determined by who wins the round the quickest, that's the only detail about it.

i second that, it was only me and a small handful of people who were actually saying we needed at least one demoman but other than that it was definitely a very well played match

Just a quick bit:

Going into stopwatch mode, I believe it was Deja who said: "If we can get it done in under 5 minutes we can camp C as engies and win". So that was our mindset.

We got it under 5mins and then had engies just build up C really good and hold it. It was a good game from all. Really intense at some points. It makes me happy that E's put up such a good fight, I guess the E vs. E Scrim really did help!

Was it from the sniping or the spying???? Overall, this was probably my most favorite scrim I've ever been in. Too close to call. It was a pleasure fighting with everyone that attended tonight.

I had hoped Scrappy and I had explained the details of stopwatch mode thoroughly enough so that everyone would understand. When I asked if there were any questions nobody responded so I assumed it was all good. If that's not the case I apologize but regardless, you guys fought very hard and almost had it.

That event was probably the most intense event i've been to! Too bad I couldn't join the second half because of coursework I had to finish.
