Quick DVD/CD Drive Question

Hey I've just got a quick question.
I hadn't really noticed this until today... so it's a new one

I've got this "new" rig with multiple DVD/CD Drives...
Is there any way I can specifically name them? Right now they're just a bunch of random letters and/or numbers...

What do you mean name them? Like in device manager or on My Computer?

Right click my computer > click manage
Click disk management
Right click on cdrom on bottom portion of window > Change drive letter and paths
Click change
Chose your poison

ok>ok red X

Done

do you mean drives C, D, E, F ect where dives C and D could be your optical drives and E and F your hard drives? You can place a disk into one of your optical drives and see which drive under my computer shows it loaded. This will let you know which drive is assigned to what letter.
