Help with spray, and Monitor Shutdown

Well I have two questions here.

I know I asked this question before, but i am horrible when it comes to dealing with sprays. I have an image, But how do I upload it into TF2. Like, What file image can it be and if I need to make it into a certain file, does anyone know anyplace i can do that.

2nd Question

Does anyone know why a monitor will jsut blank out at the middle of a game. This happened to me twice already. I was playing TF2 and my monitor just like goes out on me. I still hear the game running and i checked everything and I can't diagnose the issues. I just manually reset my computer and the monitor goes back to normal. Can anyone elaborate on this?

not sure for your spray question but.. i would reccomend updating your video drivers and cleaning your computer of dust.. a crappy driver or overheating video card would cause your display to cut out and when u shut down your computer your card gets a chance to cool down for a bit and after a while of load will probably cut out again. if those things dont help i would consider monitoring your temperatures on your video card closer and see if they go too high. since you still hear stuff im assuming its just your video card overheating or erroring out.

I convert my sprays to TGA format (Targa) using GIMP, the max size is 256x256 but I've heard of people using 512x512 (pixels)....

Then just Import the TGA and voila.

For your spray, if you have the right image size, download IrfanView which is a great, free image converter(i use it all the time for sprays). Just import the image, save as whatever format you want that steam can import, then just import and you're done!
