KoTH or ToyFort?

I love Koth 12v12 and under, preferably closer to 8v8.

Except whenever I look in there is only 1-2 people and for example right now when maps should be filled up...there is 0. D:

I don't see how it's helping the clan. Maybe a higher up can explain :)

Cashworks, Toyfort, and KOTH have all failed to take off in their numerous trials.. I suggest we all be more creative. I think during the school period (that has just started) the number of servers should just be reduced to adjust for the lowering demand.

Don't get me wrong, I love cashworks, but it just kills servers by emptying them.

It's just too bad there isnt a module out there that everyone could enjoy. When I look at the CS:S division, I think it is quite obvious that outside of their 2 popular servers (Dust 2 & Office), they heavily rely on the popularity of modded servers (Jail 24/7 and Zombie Mod 24/7).

If TF2 had the option for a new style of gameplay via mod I think we would be able to attract new users. GGVW mentioned while the O team was attempting to fill servers, that maybe people are beginning to lose interest in TF2 all together.

I don't know if that is the case but we need to offer better solutions than just a flavor of the month map that people lose interest in quickly.

I dont mean to dismiss yall's ideas, but I just think we should be thinking outside the box.

There is a Zombie mod available for TF2 but I have never played it.

I liked ToyFort a LOT, but the vastly larger map rotation and amout of variety of the KoTH server just can't be beat by a 24/7 server.

Also if you only play on eGO servers most or all of the time (like me) they you wouldn't really get to experiance the Arena game type so for many people this is the only chance to play those maps.

Guys, I miss Toy Fort Low Grav too. I liked jumping around everywhere, and was actually the only map I played when I joined eGO besides Dustbowl with my friend S7R1K3R (as that's all he plays). But we've had it twice now, it got taken off the first time, we gave it another chance not too long ago, it failed as it could never fill up, and we decided to try out KotH. I've only tried KotH once, and there weren't a lot of people, and I still like Toy Fort more, but I've only played KotH once, and that was with 3v3. Let's keep KotH or awhile, and if you really don't like it, and it just can't stay full, then you can use the drop box to give leadership a suggestion. We had a lot of these threads awhile back, I really don't want to see them come back.
