Your thoughts on iBuyPower

Hey there folks, I'm looking into either building another gaming computer for myself or trying out the good peeps at iBuyPower.com. What I need to know from some of you guys is what you think of their products.

Is the quality worth the price tag?

What's their customer support like?

Are they as ungodly fast in real life as they look on paper?

Do eGO members get a hook-up on discounts?


I'd prefer to get more feedback from people who have actually made a purchase from them or if you're one of the lucky raffle winners when those were going on. But pretty much all thoughts and insight is more than welcome (except for a sales pitch, that's not exactly necessary).

I dont think eGO gets discounts from them. If we do, its a very very minor one.
They are an okay company. People usually go with them if they dont know how to build their own computer. Also, if you want a legit retail Windows operating system, then going with ibuypower or one of those companies might be cheaper than buying your own but you can still build one better than them for cheaper.

Basically all i can say is, go and build your own. Its cheaper, more fun, and just better in general. I build mine, your basically cutting out the middleman when you build your own computer which in return, you pay less.

he probably got it for free...........its not like ibuypower is bad, if you get one with good specs its obviously gonna be good. Its just all about price. You can build one for so much cheaper than you buy off ibuypower

From what i've heard, Ibuypower is a very good company. There prices are a bit on the high side though. I really like the custom case jobs that they do. If your looking to purchace a PC, check out Cyberpowerpc.com. Thats where i got my pc from. I would look on youtube for reviews though.

my computer is from ibuypower and i love it, the only thing i sorta do and dont like is that they zippertie the power cords, and sometimes you have to cut all of them out, just to get one wire
