I personally try and avoid using ones I haven't created myself, since I typically waltz into Photoshop every once in a while when I've got a creative spell going on. Recently, I'm having problems with getting the damn semi-transparency right (as stated here), but I'm working on it.

So what about you guys?

EDIT: Post your own sprays, everyone. Show us what you use in-game!

I currently use one of a kill-cam shot of a dead Heavy on the ground looking like he's throwing a temper-tantrum. Until Chaos Cat gives me my "FYI, I melee Pyros (and win)" spray. *COUGH, COUGH CHAOS CAT COUGH*.

Well I have photoshop and use it myself so I think if you have the program why not use it

Depends. At the moment, I'm using an anti-halo spray, so it's premade :D

I make them myself.

I used to dload sprays from FPSbanana, but I started seeing other people also using them.

I occasionally make my own on Photoshop, but most of the time I just use one that I've found online.

Its more satisfying to make your own and there are lots of free sites you can use to learn from.

Mine's custom made. A few people have asked me for the original. Here it is, direct from the original site I made for it:

The TF2 version was adapted by Relik, who shrunk it down and deleted some frames of animation.

Premade sprays. I'm no artist, but for some reason sprays in source games don't work for me anymore. =/
