I know we all want diablo 3 badly :facewall: but i have feeling we wont see it till 2013.

I voted never. since i got a feeling its gonna be Q4 2012 or Q1 2013, so were all gonna be dead since its the end of the world :O

Garuntee it'll end up coming out in 2010, it's been in development for like 5 years.

IIRC, Starcraft 2 got delayed until late 2010 or early 2011...and Diablo won't come out before SC...so I voted 2012

It's hard to say.

I'm trying to look at it from a business perspective...

In May 2009 WoW held 11.5 MILLION subscriptions. At $15/month per subscription, they made $172,500,000 that month alone. If they maintain that number for one year, they would make $2,070,000,000. Therefore, why release competition against your largest income? I predict a quarter of WoW subscribers will quit WoW in favor of SCII and/or DIII, even if just for a year. (I say 25% because several people have more than one account that they pay for.) With most games going at $60, that's equivilant to 4 months of WoW subsciption. If a WoW user cancels their subsciption for just one year, blizzard will lose $120/person/year (if they buy one of their other games at $60). So it really doesn't make sense to release either game until WoW dies.

I doubt 1/4 of the sub's are going to completely leave WoW for SC2/D3, most of the people who play them, will probably leave their WoW Accounts active too.

I don't think its a smart discussion for Blizzard to be releasing TWO of the most anticipated game, StarCraft II and Diablo III at the same year or the month, etc. So my prediction is that either one will be out by the mid of 2010 (I'm thinking StarCraft II) and the other may be delayed another year perhaps.

we all know starcraft 2 will be out before diablo 2.

blizzard was showing it off wayy before they said anything about D3.

the beta for SC2 is apparently coming out sometime at the end of 09, so im guessing the late 2010 for SC2 and like 2012 for D3.

Fixed and agree

I'm pretty sure SC2 is coming out at the beginning of 2010 and D3 will be near May of 2010

no that way to early, especially for D3.
the beat for SC2 is coming out near the end of 09 so why would they release a game when the beta just came out?
