It is real, you can be assured of that. There is also the fact that many of the changes in the 'TF2 Beta Suspected Changes' on the steam forums have actually happened already. Like, it predicted the changes to the sandman and other balance changes in the Classless update, it also predicted some of the changes in today's update. So that and the articles on trusted websites about the beta have me convinced it is real.
