Borderlands OMG

I've been playing most of the day on and off. I have to say this game is far more than I ever had hoped for, and looks far better than I expected. I've started 3 characters, one of everything except the brute. I have to say i'm liking the chick the best so far, except that she does horrible in 1 on 1's with the tough guys. A lot of the game is a little too easy so far though. I can get through the first part of the game (up the killing 9 toes) in about 25-30 minutes tops and kill him in about 30 seconds or less.

The guns are amazing, and thus far my favorites are the more powerful, slower SMG's and the scatterguns. Grenades leave a little bit to be desired however. You can only carry 3, they're expensive, and honestly, they aren't very effective against stuff that matters.

Oh, and this is a tiny bit of a spoiler, but it isn't really anything important to be totally honest, just another quest. When you have to fight bonehead, take a sniper rifle with you and get a crit headshot on him before firing anything else on him as it takes his shields all the way down (tested this on all 3 characters). He can be a problem if you don't keep his shields down. Also if you fight him from the entrance to the little canyon he is in, you don't have to fight the rest of the guys in there (which I believe are all around level 11, and you should be there around level 7-8). Just kill him when he's near your position at the mouth of the canyon and sprint in and grab items all at once, sprint back to camp and your good. Otherwise this fight will most likely take a lot of time, and a lot of luck. I'm only putting this out there because it really isn't anything major as far as story or the overall game, but can be really frustrating without knowing what your doing.

Dont worry about the difficulty it is supoused to be easy in the beggining, I was watching a 25 lvl stream and he was gettig rolled, the encounters get hard. Also once you get a high level you have to play through on a higher difficulty to get 50.

Gah! the Borderland adds won't leave me alone! they're taunting me like cupcakes behind a display case when the store is closed and you're really really wanting a cupcake so you stand outside waiting for them to open and there's this neon light that keeps flashing that says, "Moist, Delicious, Why Wait? Lol, some stores have already released the game. But there is encryption on it that won't let you play till the 26th.

It unlocks for me on the 30th, y do you guys say monday?! Oh well, I'm gonna play a siren, with a survivability/controller focus with a few skills from elemental as I'm gonna co-op w/ friends, I feel that mel?e is not my playstyle (+ I hear it is weak w/o venom :. no hard to get), and i don't mind doing less damage so long as I live a long time and can stay in fights longer:
