I posted a week or so ago about lag on EGO Dust 2 server. Very quickly I received responses and the thread was locked before a rebuttal could be made.
I must ask if the people who maintain these servers have played on the server recently?
When server population reaches a certain amount more than half the people get stuck in spawn for first 10-20 seconds of match.. Then are able to move for about 5 seconds only to lag again for another 20 seconds.
I have adjusted rates, optimized and defragmented steam and played on a variety of other servers and everything seems fine on my end. As well as the fact that im not alone with these problems on the server.
I dont have a "Killer Rig" but with specs below I run at 80-120fps and with rates adjusted I maintain a normal 0 choke sometimes spiking to 4. I am in Arizona with adequate cable and this may be untrue but heard the server was in Texas.

ps. Yes going to another server solves the issue however when the server was working I called it home.
