Kanye West Humiliates Taylor Swift

He apologized profusely during his appearance on Leno last night and on his blog. He said he wants to meet Taylor Swift in person and apologize to her face to face. He completely admits he is in the wrong and even talked about taking some time off for some self-reflection.

Did he screw up? Absolutely. Do I like him? Not at all. However, his apology was about the classiest thing he could have done.

I don't think his apology was sincere. But that's just me personally.

i beg to differ, i believe that his apology was the ONLY thing he could have done. I'm sorry but using the morning of his mothers death that happened 2 years ago to pull off a stunt like that? I wonder how long it took him to think of that excuse after watching the video of himself looking like a complete jackass. Maybe about 2 minutes max.

Ever since he made his Album "Threw the Wire" where he supposedly recorded the whole album with his mouth wired shut, he think he is just the most talented most amazing artist out there. and that ego shot him down over the years and look where its led him.

By the way, i feel like something is going to come of this in pop culture.

Its not being rick rolled anymore, if someone interrupts you... you were just kanye'ed.

Before anyone says it, i know its not that extreme.
But its the same idea, you cant just do bad things, and then go "well i said sorry, so its okay".
 
I really feel sorry for Taylor.. Look at her face! I've never really hated Kanye, but this changed my view of him.
 
why is everybody so surprised that Kanye did this? I mean, what was he before? An angel? Sure it was mean but it was kind of "expecting" fromm him. But yeah a total jerk and attention-grabbing poser. Hated him from the start and hate him still

I heard the day after on the country radio station here in Chicago that he was also perma-banned from all upcoming VMAs. About his apology, personally I think he just did that cause it seems like he doesn't have many friends left. You shouldve seen all the celebrity responces to what he did. So many famous people were tearing him apart.
 
I can see this new kanye meme becoming very popular.

What he did on that stage was inexcusable. It doesn't even matter that it was Taylor Swift at her FIRST VMA (though I do love her music). If it had been a performer twice her age, and he had pulled that stunt, it still would have been horribly tacky. Also, Kanye meme= the new Xzibit.
