Kanye West Humiliates Taylor Swift

To be honest I wasnt a big fan of Kanye, and never will be!!! After this I think everyone will start thinking bad things about him...
 
I don't have much to say about this since the VMAs don't really interest me, but all the "remixes" of it are hilarious.
 
In chatting with one of my friends, who's very big into this sort of music, she had some thoughts I hadn't even considered.

I figured, Kanye, who had been seen drinking and is pretty opinionated to start with, probably would have waited to see if Beyonce won anything before acting had not been drunk.

My friend pointed out that the list of winners was probably already leaked; after all, you have to let the artists do some prep. So, he probably knew Beyonce had an award coming. It had nothing to do with Taylor and Beyonce.

Taylor Swift just happened to be his first opportunity to grab the mic from someone who wouldn't respond by giving him a thorough beat down. Essentially, he was doing what he'd like to to Eminem, but didn't have the guts.

By picking on Swift, who's hardly more than a kid, really, he made a really bad move. Everybody hates it when a bully takes candy from a baby.

I've never cared for the genre of music personally, so I don't really know much about Kanye. The more I learn about this guy, the less I like him. I'd be shocked if people didn't start boycotting his stuff over this tantrum.

He should be barred from awards shows. They won't do that, of course--knowing he's so unpredictable could bring them some ratings.

I am Taylor Swift fan...and I cannot belive this Kanye West did that to this girl..in the 2009 VMA...her award was well deserved

You can't say for certain that he did this just to get out of it, just as I can't say for certain that he was genuine about it. We will know from his future actions.

And still an apology doesn't excuse you out of consequences or make things ok, but you still do it because it's the right thing to do. You still go to jail for murder to use your example, but if you can come to point where you are sorry about it that shows growth in you already. If he's fake about it, we'll see something like this again in less than a year. If he's real, good for him he finally learned something.

I'll stop, I don't want to give the impression that I'm getting heated up about this, I just don't think it's fair to judge a person's apology.

I wonder how many people in this clan have been kicked out of our servers, come back, apologized, joined and gone on to be great examples from then on in our community. Glad we gave them a second chance.
 
He's very opinionated, and that simply doesn't mix well with alcohol. If you want to make your points in an educated, enlightened fashion, don't get drunk before doing it. It doesn't turn out well.

As for his apology, it doesn't hurt us to take it as sincere. His future behavior will tell us whether it really was.

Somehow, I fear he won't be able to contain himself. There's too much bias in his world view for him not to keep up his behavior.
 
so because he went on Jay Leno and said sorry, everything is ok? This isn't the first time he has put his foot in his mouth, and probably won't be the last. Jay-Z needs to stuff this dude back where he found him.
 
Also, don't get me wrong, I am absolutely loving the memes popping up after this all happened.
