My favorite aspect of the heavy sandvich throw? You're on fire, very low health, but you think you might be being chased. Switch to sandvich, toss it out in front of you as you're running. Bam. Instant 50% health return and fire is removed.

Have fun mowing down your purseurs. (can never spell that word right)
