yesterday the police took my scooter =(
i had to go the the police hq were they tested the speed.
72km/h with me on it when my scooter only is allowed to ride 45km/h
lost my scooter for max 30 days and i need to pay minimum 250€

Well, i think the finnish system sucks even more. You will lose your license plates, so you have to get it registered again, you have to pay taxes and insurance payments for the moped being a light motorcycle (50-125cc) and in addition to that, you wont be able to get a driver's license for 1 year. That means that if you are caught with a trimmed moped when you are 17, you will get to drive a car when you are
19 . And the total amount you would have to pay fines, taxes etc. is about 600€ and upwards, depending on if you were doing something else illegal too (for example if your license plate is in an illegal angle (>45 degrees))

I'm lucky in Belgium you dont need to have a license plate for a scooter. I didn't lose my license(yet?). There is a chance i lose it.
I hope my fines,taxes etc wont cost that much =(

That really sucks man, i know what you mean, Holland and Belgium are about the same with fines. I'm lucky i got a car and know where on the freeway i can but the pedal to the metal ^^...
