Counter-Strike 1.6

I come to think about it the other night... How about a Counter-Strike 1.6 server? Rolling the VALVe maps. Or do we at eGO just go with the new games engines? I think it would be grate with a CS 1.6 server, don't you?

I've used to play CS 1.6 way before I've joined eGO. And I don't think we'll be having a CS 1.6 division..And the community for 1.6 is really, really bad.

To many people are into the new stuff and its also really hard to get all the new people from the new stuff to even try the old stuff. this is the exact same situation as people asking for new servers like " Hydro " and then the population of that server has been bad so the DL has declined.

As a couple of other people said, there is no point in having a game division on a older version of a game. This is the reason why we don't have a TF:C division.

Although a CS 1.6 division is very unlikely, you could create a Steam or Forum group called "CS 1.6" and find some eGO members to play with you.

I was under the impression that 1.6 was practically dead since CPL was dead. I do miss the old days of assault though.
