This was the high-level overview of the meeting. The recording will cover all of these topcis.
Some important questions brought up:
Q: Will people not in eGO will have to follow our rules?
A: They will be expected to follow the league rules just like an eGO member.
Q: Any plans on making scheduling more efficient and streamlined?
A: A Co-Captain will be added for each team to ease the burden of scheduling. Certain League Admins will specialize in making sure scheduling occurs. Teams should make sure that they can all show up to the time chosen.
Q: What will happen to people who don't follow the rules?
A: If the infraction is minor, a warning is given. If the infraction is major, or the individual is a repeat offender, then they could be suspended for several matches or possibly removed from the current season. It is important to remember that any decision will be made based on proper evidence, which means demo recordings and screen shots.
Q: If there a scheduling problem, how do we resolve it?
A: We will delay the match if the reason is fair. If one team refuses to play and the reason is not fair, a forfeit win could be awarded to the team ready to play.
Q: Will reminder e-mails be sent out?
A: This is your your captain's responsibility
Q: Will League Officials participate in the league?
A: Yes they will, but they will not referee or administer their own matches.
Q: Will there be prizes for Season 2?
A: It is too soon to tell, but we hope so.
Q: How long will Season 2 be?
A: The season will be eight weeks, not including playoffs.
