Signatures

OH WOW!!! sign me up for wanting one, Could you do some sort of a morph between Spy and Demoman?

Nice sigs, and I usually love getting new sigs...but, I like the ones I have atm. Really nice work though.

How did you make the Killer Debo one?

I have a method for adding depth and shading to a background image to give it a 3D appearance, one that I'm using pretty extensively in the design of the textures im creating for a CSS map i've been planning to make. Basically, create a solid base texture and then create a new layer above it and fill it with any color and set the Fill amount to 0% making the layer invisible. Then, apply a combination of blending modes (Bevel, Inside Glow, Outside Glow, etc) to this layer, and they will appear on top of the background image, so you'll see the effects applied to this layer but not the solid color. After youve gotten a combination of blending modes that gives you the look youre going for, just simply erase away or paint in parts of that "fill" layer to add depth and shading automatically to the background image below.

Give it a try sometime if you mess with photoshop at all, really is a great way to paint detailed textures without having to spend too much time messing with the details, burning/dodging away at parts to lighten/darken them and bla bla bla. Hope this helps. :)

Thank you everyone for the kind words, and to those whom ive made sigs for in the past few days, hope you enjoy them. At the request/suggestion of some of you, I made a thread in the Art - Request Art section of the forums for my sig designs 'portfolio' and thats where I'll be fielding requests/comments/etc from now on, as well as posting updates and new sigs that ive made (there's a few new ones there now with at least 2 or 3 more to come this weekend, hehe)

Click my sig image to link to my collection if you wish and to post your requests for sigs there in the future.

Thanks again for the comments. Have a good one.
