Well i'm going to get it just for the concept of must own everything Aliens genre ever. I'm like a Aliens "trekky" lol anyway yes AvP2 Evoloution was fun. I just hope my 8600 GTS will run avp3 its higher then the min requirements but, well under the recommended

Rebellion did do a game called Rogue Trooper based on a 2000K comic book from the 70's. While the plot was taken straight from the comic and rather laughable, the combat in it was solid cover based with al sorts of neat mods for your gun.

Side note: Hey Nuke, did you get into the Aliens vs Predator CCG too? I thought it had some neat concepts and it was a shame that it didn't last long.

I am looking forward to this game. I've never seen the original Aliens movies (lol) but I am loving this game series.

I can't explain it. In a movie it scares the snot out of me and I have a low tolerance for it. In the games it still scares me, but I embrace it as I empty a clip from my pulse rifle.

I hate it in movies, love it in games. Can't explain it.

You have to appreciate the movie's before you can really get submersed into the heart-throbbing realm of Aliens. Anyway no i do not collect cards.... This game i have pre-ordered if you plan on playing it add me on steam!

Breakdown of the Alien films:

Alien - Horror film
Aliens - Sci-fi Action
Alien 3 - Suspense and tragedy
Alien Resurrection - Lots of blood and stuff goes boom.

I love the Alien series. It's the only series out there where each film is directed by a different director, but each one is a great director.

Alien is done by Ridley Scott who did Blade Runner, Gladiator and Black Hawk Down.

Aliens is from James "King of the World" Cameron...who everyone knows by now.

Alien 3 is a David Fincher film. He directed Se7en and Fight Club, now Alien 3 in not that great of a film it really isn't Fincher's fault.

Alien Resurrection is by French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who is an incredibly imaginative. He is known primarily for City of Lost Children and Am?lie.

Interestingly enough there is going to be a prequel to Alien and it's being directed by Ridley Scott, so it has a chance of being good.

It looks really good so far. Hopefully the multiplayer won't be too out of balance, I have a feeling the humans are going to be a little weak in MP.

Predators will be strong but slow, aliens fast but weak and humans nuzzled right in the middle . Is that balanced enough for you?

They show the films on television now. I believe its AMC (not sure if you get it or not and I'm not sure what channel it may be if you do get it, you're just going to have to look.) I was actually just watching alien 3 a few hours ago. It'll be on again around 1:00pm central time if i remember correctly
