Do you have a lap or desktop?

its not Vista, my brother runs everything smooth on high and hes running Vista, so its your graphics card.

Vista is not the problem. It's your graphics card. We can help you pick out a graphics card, but will need some information from you. Please fill out the form below:

Power Supply Brand:
Total Power Supply Watts:
Amps on each (leave blank if not there),
12V1:
12V2:
12V3:
12V4:

Budget for new card:

If you don't know these off the top of your head (most don't), just open your case and there should be a sticker on the side of the power supply that has all of the stats. A proper power supply is essential when upgrading your graphics card.

This.

I believe the 220 is equivalent to the 9600. Not much gaming power there for high/very high settings, esp. with AA/AF.

Its definitly your grpahics card. Just look at the thing, its puny no offense when looking at the pictures. Compare that to something like an ATI 4850 and up or a GTX 260, it looks so small and like its missing pieces.

Upgrade your graphics card but i would wait till the ATI 5 series comes out in 2 days supposedly. We need to know a budget first tho before we can recommend some GPUS

I'm willing to pay upto 500 pounds for a graphics card. cheaper if possible but 500 is my max

WOW 500 pounds.....jesus you can get the best graphics card out there, you can Crossfire two 4870x2 and still have like $200 US dollars left over.

Since you have such a high budget, pick up one of these Super overclocked GTX 295. Its $560, spares you around $300.

Its a FTW edition GTX 295, i think it may be the fastest one out there even compared to the Water-Cooled GTX 295 which is ridiculous.

his psu wont handle that

maybe with that kind of change he could buy a new power supply and the 295

he posted his PSU specs?? yea watever, he can afford a 1000w PSU and GTX 295 with the cash hes got with money to spare.

Looks good, just make sure you have room for that card though. It takes up two pci slots...

Get the 4890.

read before u post......he has like 500 pounds to spare, wouldn't it be best to get him the best graphics card on the market pretty much??

Pure85, why dont u get the FTW edition??? its clocked much higher and will ultimately perform much better. If the one you're getting can overclock just as high then go for it but i doubt they are capable of but its possible.
