Youtube problem

Lately I've been having trouble watching youtube videos. It seems I cant buffer the vids fast enough to watch them with out waiting several minutes for it to buffer.

This is very annoying. Especially sense I am a big youtube user and watch alot of videos. Its really frustrating to wait 15 minutes to watch a 10 minute video.

I've look on several cites to figgure out how to fix this but Im still having trouble. One cite said to clear my cache, but I cant figgure out how.

I've tried every thing from deleting my entire browsing history, to running virus scans, to defraging my hard drive.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Im using the latest version of firefox. And I use AVG as my anti-virus.

I'm no expert on YouTube, but to me this sounds like your internet connection is what is causing the problem.

Did you notice this change gradually, or suddenly?
Also, do you know if YouTube has updated their video player recently?
Lastly, could you post your computer specs. Be sure to include the hard drive(s) and RAM.

I don't know how Firefox stores Flash like IE does because its done through a plug-in. I use a program called Glary's Utilities(free version) to clear my cache. It clears alot more than just internet cache, you can within the module tab use the Tracks Eraser and choose specifically only firefox and flash cache to be deleted and see if that works.

If FF uses Flash the same way IE does theres two folders where it stores the stuff.(XP dir)
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player
The Application Data folder is a hidden folder, need to allow the viewing of hidden folders to see it through the GUI.

It happened suddenly, and Im not sure if you tube has updated thier player.

My Specs:
CPU: Anthlon 64X2 4000+
Ram: 2 Gigs PC2-5300 (667mhz)
HD: 320Gig (not sure of the speed, but its and Compaq computer if that helps)

Happens to me on occasion it usually just goes away by itself though.

If you're still having the issue, try doing a speed test to make sure there's not something wrong with your internet connection.
