Download speed Dropping

Today my download speed has dropped from 120+ KB/sec down to under 50KB/sec I have some files i really need downloaded and I don't feel like waiting and hour or 2 to download a 100mb file. I am the only one on my network (I think). I am using Comcast internet and I have a Dlink DGL 4500 router. Also my internet speed has also dropped it is being really slow now. Please help quick.

If you internet speed has dropped, it could mean that your ISP is doing maintenance in your area. If this is the case, you may have to wait a bit for it to come back 100%.

You could also try rebooting your computer, router and modem.

Ok that would make sense, I live in North Georgia and we have had about 3 feet of rain in the last few days and there has been a lot of flooding and a lot of trees and power lines knocked down. I am installing Windows updates now because i had to re install Vista, I will see if it is any better when its done.
