Yeah, they're slowly bringing out new servers but they're first trying to manage the populations of the main servers first.
Whether this is an excuse or not, the queue lines and wait times will subside as it gets further from launch and the populations stabilize along with the influx of new servers.
To answer Drambar, yes it has PvP although I haven't tried it out yet as I'm only lvl 19; but people in my legion have said it can be pretty intense.
PvE feels pretty standard. There's a good amount of quests but you will run into a dry spot here and there if you can't find a group easily in which you may have to do some grind (I didn't need to grind at all until around 17 or 18 and even then it was mostly just my choice to do so).
Honestly, the grind is actually rewarding in terms of xp gain, harvesting items for crafting and getting random stuf tah auction off or vendor, whereas whenever I do quests I almost never make that much money or gather much or progress my character aside from a few random loot drops and some quest xp. The xp req. in order to gain lvls gets kinda steep (at lvl 18 I needed 670,000 xp to lvl and now at 19 I need a over 800,000 and I get around 4k per kill) and its actually a lot faster to level via the grind than it is to quest so it's more like you can approach the experience through either method and then have the ability to switch it up via quests/grind/or PvP in order to break any monotony.
Does it feel like a grind experience? Hmm, it's hard to say since most people have differing opinions as to exactly what a grind experience is to them. To me, the entire PvE experience doesn't feel like a grind and nothing else. A complete grind experience to me is more like a "Silk Road" type gaming experience whereas this feels more like a combination of a WoW-esque approach coupled with Lineage.
Sure there is a grind element in there, but it's not the entire experience in my opinion, but then again what mmo isn't going to have a grind element (TOR my hopes are with you ><).
All in all, the game is interesting but it's not really groundbreaking besides flying and the freedom of flying feels a bit more restricted than I expected; altho I and everyone I know that is playing absolutely loves the ability to jump off cliffs and hills and glide from place to place. For PvP it's very interesting, PvE it's only a slight change from the norm thus far at my level.
