Saphire released ATI Radeon HD5870!

do want

hmmmm now all they need to do is make them free.........i'll keep dreaming

i don't see how this thing won't overheat...or at least keep your case boiling. the exhaust out the back of the card is very tiny compared, as well it pushes (probably mostly) of its heat into your case. i really dislike that thought

Even though they run around 70 or a bit more under load, they won't really burn out considering the ATI 4 series were running like 90 load at time, mine actually reached around 100 once but no artifacting or anything.
Honestly though, once aftermarket coolers come out and Non-referance boards come out, heat wont become a problem even though it really isn't right now and, plus non-reference boards will have voltage tweaking and such to allow a lot more overclocking capabilities.

You should still have a decent airflow case, im running a HAF 932 so airflow shouldn't be a problem when i buy a 5870x2.
I did hear that there may be a problem of the heat going back into the case if your case doesn't have a decent amount of airflow.
I personally like the two slots on the back as exhaust ports, they don't seem to be that much worse than current exhaust ports, maybe better. Current ones are just like slits and small vents, these are like two giant holes without anything blocking.
