Some of us were curious as to how many of us INS Division members use Ventrilo.

If I were to play every day, I would be getting into vent weekly. Yeah, it's awesome to chill with all the cool people from our division, but it often muffles up the sound of the game and it makes it very difficult to admin mic chat. Plus, in the INS room everyone talks at the same time or not at all .

I mostly keep it up when im home, just in case there is a problem in the servers or if someone needs my help. And sometimes just to keep noise in the house... hahaha.. its gets quiet up here in the country!

I've gone into vent a couple of times, but my connection issues completely bork it.

Vent is the 'behind the scenes' for the INS division, if you don't have it or can't get on because of a certain computer issues, I'm sorry to say, but you're missing out.

Just INS has 5 public channels, the main channel which is titled Insurgency is where the majority of the socializing goes down, where most of the divisional meetings are held, and is a very fun upbeat channel where you can meet some interesting characters. :laugh:
The second one down is the BAR INS, a channel for the more quiet group that like a nice peaceful killing environment and for those who are just on that particular server.
The third is our lovely Dust channel where you can usually find eGOs one and only Too Fat To Fish. The Dust channel is another good place for a quiet environment and if your just on the Dust2 server.
The last 2 are the BAS INS and the BAS USMC channels, usually the same quiet environment as the BAR INS and the Dust, but have been used quite frequently lately for ESL matches, scrims, and other events.

Overall ventrilo is one of the fastest, easiest, and one of the most fun ways of communicating amongst each other from not only the Insurgency division, but throughout eGO. You can find out just about everything that is currently going on in eGO by hopping onto vent. Whether your needing to ask a question about a certain rule or if its just a new (appropriate) joke that you heard and wanted to tell your channel, vent is the place to be. Everyone is doing it, why shouldn't you?! :confused1:
