Time it takes to become an admin/ how to get considered to be added to the admin crew

I really respect the admins and other eGO members but I was just wanting to ask how long it takes most people to get noticed? This is out of respect but I've been in this clan for over a year, maybe two. Yet I am still just an e. Is there some meeting I have to go to in order to vs admins to get noticed?
 
Best thing to do is

Be active on the forums.
Play with Advisors,DL'S and Council - this helps you get noticed a lot

There is not a set time that determines when a player gets a promotion to receive admin. It honestly depends quite a lot on numerous factors. Based on what has been said thus far, my advice would be to be active on the website and use Ventrilo especially. Vent is one of the best ways to meet people and get your name out there. That is one of the keys to receiving a promotion. Leadership has to know who you are first before you can even considered. Also, you need to have shown the potential to be an admin. We don't just want to hand out admin privileges to just anyone. We want people to prove they are capable. This is a simple breakdown of what to do to become an admin.

As said here before, NEVER ask for a promotion or inquire in anyway about one. That is your best way not to get one sooner or potentially ever.
 
Well...not to repeat it too much, but hanging out in Ventrilo is a great way to meet everyone.

#1 though, you aren't MAUL verified. How are you going to administrate servers if you can't even pick up your toolbox? That's the most glaring problem right there; to be honest, I've never played with you ingame, so I won't comment on anything related to that.

Either way though, you need to stop by Ventrilo and have fun with all of us! And don't forget; as Gumba11 so eloquently put it,

In my opinion as an e and what I see,if e's themselves post these types of things (I am not criticising anyone) it is like begging for a promotion or something. As what Ra. said,get Vent. It may help.

You can be in the clan as long as you want, but if you aren't in the servers or in the vent, etc. then your not going to just get promoted due to how long you've been here.
 
Why would you want to be an admin? It's responsibility added on to what should be a stress free gaming session.

Leave it to the more interested people.
 
VENT VENT VENT is one of the best Ways to be seen by council members, and also MIRC, thats a good way to know people :)
 
Uh.... I was wondering the same.. Good to start this post for all =(e)= who are wondering.
I am for 9 months in the clan... and still e yes:P But what is Vent? You guys all say: Vent:Vent:Vent. But what is it?:P I try to reply on forums, and play much on Ego servers from DOD:S and COD4. But never tried to Vent, or whatever it is :P can somebody tell me?
 
Vent is a program were we use our mics to talk to each other in rooms. All of the info is on the left side. Vent(ventrilo) is free. We hold all of our meetings in vent as well.

i am usually in there but my comp doesnt work with it well atm, so untill i get a laptop contact me in steam and i can help you get it installed :)

Thanks guys. It worked for me :-).

I will be there when i'm home alone. Becaus i dont use mic. when my parents are home, they start thinking i'm sow much adicted to my computer that is start talking to it. :P

You don't need a mic to use vent (but it helps a lot)
You can also use text in vent. When you enter Vent you should put "Text Only" in your comments that way others know that you will reply in text. :-)

Get it setup. Get in there. Get noticed.
When you do get your mic everything is done.

sometimes i honestly feel that way
 
if you realy want to become an admin just play have fun, visit vent and the forum once in a while but primary you should just play and have fun, don't stress about it like i did, its the stupidest thing you can do, as i said DONT think too much about it, play, have fun =)
