Help uploading a demo.

I need to know how to convert a .dem file without using an outside program other than CS:S I have a demo that I would like to share with everyone.

I don't believe there is any way to directly convert a demo into a easily playable video format. You have to go through with some sort of screen recorder and recapture the video to export it.

no that was on something different. I was ;looking for free programs to edit the demos on. This is asking how to convert them.

well, yeah, it's all there

try renaming the file as a .avi using WinRar, make sure you have a copy of the file you do it too, incase it doesnt work lol but that usually works for me.

Try that. If that fails, you can try to use Fraps to record it.
