hmmm........u guys think that like if i had the choice between 2x4870x2 in crossfire vs 1x5870x2
which should i get??

a family friend of mine has 2x4870x2 and would probably sell it cheaper to me than a single 5870x2.....which would be a better buy?? and give good frames still?

The dual 4870x2's would perform better, however, you will be missing out on DX11(not that DX11 games other than one or two will be out for a long time. It's your call.

yea....i might just go with a 5870x2, but it depends.......nah, they are saying DX 11 is going to catch on much faster this time but we will have to wait and see

Unless your playing Crysis at maxed at a really high res it wont really matter you won't be able to see the difference in FPS. On a Source game your gonna get 200+ fps on maxed anyway.

2x 4870x2's wouldn't scale as much as you think. You'd be better off getting a 5870x2 and down the the road crossfiring that.

yea i kno the whole scaling thing with quad-fire, and yea it pretty much sucks, tri-fire is the best.....im just gonna go 5870x2 cuz my 2nd PCIe slot sucks
