only like 80MB. Normally my vids are like 300MB, with a much beter quallity.
But i changed the save settings, sow it became a smaller video size with less quality. But in HD, the video looks pretty good.:)
 
Come on, you could have done better then that. All I saw was a guy in spectate mode flying around capturing random moments on a DoD server. I don't mean to be harsh, but there was really just nothing good about it.

Very nice, and I love that most of the footage took place of Flash. But, you should have done it while I was playing. You could have had a real star for the show.

Try it yourself. Go fly arround.. edit it, put music into it. Take your time ( i did it in 2 or 3 hours ). Lets see which one people like more.. yours or mine.

:O yea... almost forgotten... what else most i do then spectate? MOst i play myself... if i did.. you would say: I only see someone playing. -.-

ah don't worry about it man, I could watch someone flying around in spec all day if the music was good enough. You should make another one, in fact you should make one for each of our maps, I think this concept would be especially cool on a map like Strand.

Your avatar really does look killer by the way, kudos to the artist

i love the video BTW! i think im going to start making some vids myself. i just had a few questions for you or anyone else that knows :). so i used the demo recorder from within DOD and i got like 2000 pictures from that, which is a lot of space. whats the best way to convert that to a vid and then be able to edit it? will Sony Vegas 9.0 do that? i have some awesome footage, but i cant do anything with it.

You have to use Sony Vegas 9.0 indeed. But i dont know if you edit your demo with that. Maby you can just try it....

otherwise... i dont know, what kind of file is your demo? wmv? avi? mp4? mpeg?

Maby you should typ into google: <typ of demo file> to wmv/avi converter.

Best tutorial I've seen for it: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Help:Recording_demos

Basically, if you type "startmovie moviename avi" you can record your clip to a movie file instead of a bunch of images. You need a good codec though, check out the page it'll tell you everything you need to do.

Skip ahead acouple minutes.

I agree that everybody should start somewhere, but something that got on my pet peeve was how you made a poll for music. Music is not what always makes the film, it's the quality of the film itself. It's very easy to just fly around and capture peoples movements. The skill is in camera angles, and emotion. Study these two things and you'll go pro in no time ;)

Record myself? No.. becaus everybody already knows that.. becaus they can do it by theirselfs
