Headsets, headsets, headsets...

well from reviews i've read.....a fair amount haven't said good things about the razer's. In general Razer headsets usually aren't that good though their other products are nice. The other choices are all very good, i would personally go with the Logitech one if you have the money. Those sennheiser ones aren't the best and certainly aren't a good choice compared to the Logitech and Plantronics. They don't cover your full ear and will be very uncomfortable.

Basically, i say GO WITH THE LOGITECH but its expensive, do it if you got the dough
 
Wow surprise surprise another headset died. Which headset were you using pickles?

I agree with PewPew on the Sennheisers, I wouldn't get them they are really expensive for the money. I'll give you some headphones though because that's what I do.

If you are spending that kind of dough the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CMS0XU?ie=UTF8&tag=netwmarkleadn-20"]Audio Technica AD-700 [/ame]is definitely right up your alley, nothing but great reviews from gamers. I've used these personally, comfortable beyond belief, not hot, and you can hear footsteps from miles away. Great for music and movies too.

If you're going to be spending big bucks on a headset, I would definitely go with a pair of Trittons. I had the pleasure to try out the AX Pro at QuakeCon this year, and was completely blown away. Complete 5.1 surround sound with amazing fidelity, and the best spatial audio I think I've ever heard. It also has connections to be used as a 360 headset and a PS3 headset, which is pretty boss. (And besides all that, it's a sponsor of eGO)

It is a bit pricey at $170, but there are lower end models you can check out on the website. (Oddly, you can't actually order anything directly off of their website; They do link to their products on other sites, such as Best Buy).

If you're looking for a budget headset (I'd say you aren't, judging by the initial headsets you threw up there), I'd definitely recommend the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Premium-USB-Headset-980374-0403/dp/B0007SXHP0"]Logitech Premium 350[/ame], which is only $40. I've had a pair of these for about 3 years, and it's the sturdiest headset I have ever encountered. The sound is really fantastic for the price tag, and the mic is great, too. My only gripe is that they can get pretty uncomfortable after gaming marathons.

Its the best gaming headset out there pretty much and its look super sick
I guess the Razer is fine though even though i heard they weren't too good
 
The razer one is the one i have, it's probably the best headset i've had! I've heard that exact opposite about the razer one, nothing but good reviews on it. The older ones had more problems i guess.
 
Yea I've gotten logitech ones before and the connection at either the headphones themselves go out or where it hooks into the PC goes out. My vote is for Plantronics if you didn't already buy but maybe later on.
