New Street Fighter Teaser Site

While the site at this link is merely a skin-and-bones teaser site at the moment, the date posted leads one to believe that more information will be revealed at 5 PM JST tomorrow.

This may have something to do with the rumors floating around about an expansion or even brand new Street Fighter IV. It's been speculated that numerous characters have or will be included in this new game, broadly including:

- Dee Jay
- T.Hawk
- Ibuki
- Guy
- Cody
- Adon
- Rolento
- Dudley

Tune in to the site at 5 tomorrow and see if anything new shows up.
 
Hmm... If its an expansion then I would get it, but if its a whole new Street Fighter I don't think I would.

Agreed. I like SF a lot, but I don't like any of those characters enough to buy a new game for just them and a few new attacks or features.
 
That's what I'm saying. Charlie was one of my go-to guys in Street Fighter Alpha, but they bring back Guy and Cody? Lame!
 
I apologize for the double-post in advance.

2 characters have been confirmed for what is now believed (not confirmed) to be DLC for SFIV (woot!)

The 2 characters in question are T. Hawk(joy of all joys) and Juri, whom I don't recognize from anywhere.

Ooow. I would use T. Hawk maybe just for fun...But I will always stick with Dan because hes the best!
 
My money would be on new game, not just DLC (although I would strongly prefer the latter). Remember when, for no apparent reason, Gamestop sold SfIV for $20 NEW for one week? It may have been housecleaning for them, because once Super SFIV is announced, nobody is going to want to buy the original. They'll just wait for the holidays, when this is most likely going to come out. They would have to keep a lid on it for long enough that they can still sell as much SFIV as possible.

I hope that they do some serious changes on the sequel, though. They'll probably take this opportunity to balance, add some game modes and characters, new supers/ultras, and just overall tweak the original to be a better game.

And even though a lot of people are going to say that they wouldn't re-buy it, I think you need to wait and see what the new stuff is before you can make a judgement like that. If there were 8-16 new characters, a new super and ultra for every character, and an improvement to the combo system (so that they could actually be pulled off), as well as some new modes, I think that a lot of people would buy it again. I know I would.

But then again, I picked mine up at GameStop new for $20 that one week, so it wouldn't be to much of a loss for me. :D
 
if they bring back guy and cody, I WILL GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!

since they didnt bring these two back, i didnt bother. but omg i would so buy it just for those two guys. cody i understand if they take him out, but, WHY GUY!!!!!!!!

and if they have charlie, then forget it, im going all out lol
 
Whatever it is, I'll get it once I unlock Seth.

Just bought the game when it was on sale via Steam a couple weeks ago. Pretty awesome so far, especially with an adapter for my PS2 controller.
 
hmmmm, streetfighter, super streetfighter, super streetfighter turbo........... hmmmmm, i swear they already came out with things like this XD XD XD

I don't think they have figured out about DLC yet, they are going back to the time where people still bought the games for a few new characters because there was no way to get it to them.
 
It won't be long until we're all buying "Super Street Fighter IV Turbo Third Strike: Fight For The Future HD Remix II".
