I just got a new Sony Vaio VGC-JS210J and its a all in one

with specs of:
OS: Vista Ultimate x64 (i changed it through upgrade)
HDD: 320GB
Ram: 4GB DDR2
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.50GHZ
Graphics: Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset

is this a good computer???? for gamming that is

lol no, you NEED to upgrade the graphics card for it to be considering gaming ready.

What type of GFX card does it have in it? Is it onboard or does it actually have a card in it? Tempest he told us the chipset not the graphics ability. It could have a 9400 (mobile version) built into the chipset. Or a 9400 on a PCIe slot.

[edit]

Found the specs for it!

I don't know how good a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD is but it might do good I'd personally test it against a source game or run the source benchmark to see what your average FPS will or could be in a MP game.

I don't think that an all-in-one computer like that would be good for gaming. It offers no upgradability for components like the video card. If you want to game, I'd look for a desktop format PC.

Even the integrated graphics will be able to play those at least, maybe not on max though ;).

yeah the graphics card wont get you to much gaming power, well mainly all intel cards were not ment for gaming

I had that graphic card in my laptop and I had to play TF2 on lowest setting at 1366x768 res, but that was with a 2.1GHz Intel core 2 duo T6500, you may get better results with a better processor.

Sony's are terrible for gaming, if your going to game get a desktop. If your NEED a laptop it's going to cost more to game on that then a desktop no matter what.
